My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. I was born and raised in remote Alaska and met my husband in 2020 when he came to work for my parents resort. We got married in the spring of 2023 and love sharing our life with you all.

Thanks for sharing opening prep, all too soon life will get fast, nice to enjoy the slower pace. As bananas start to overripe I peel and freeze them. When I make banana bread/muffins I tend to make mass quantities I freeze for later. Much ❤

So funny!!! I couldn’t figure out why your kitchen spoons and ladles were so big hanging over your head😆. Then I realized it was their position to the camera. Love your content. It’s fun to see the ins and outs of setting up for the season. Would love to see more of the garden as it grows and how you all preserve it for the guests and long term storage.

That's the way I make banana bread, with choc chips. If I have walnuts I use them . I would guess you don't because people have allergies. So its just easier bake the bread with out
