Nothing changes much from year to year in Salinas. I visited for 12 years in a row and it's the same. Busy during a holiday weekend and almost like a ghost town after. The Colombians are introducing some nice businesses along the malecon and I hope they do well, but off-season is hard for businesses to make money there.

Seems like In the coast people have some more freedom as far as wearing a mask. I love that.. I was in Cuenca a few months back and there’s no way to move around without having a mask on. At this point I felt like I just wanted to stay indoors that way I’d be able to breath lol

Yea the beaches are much more relaxed with wearing a mask. It’s nice to be able to breathe the fresh air and see all the smiling faces!

I’m going to Salinas I can’t wait any longer MAY 3 though MAY 7 and I will be proposing to my girlfriend in Salinas at LA CHOCOLATERA very nervous I’m 23 I live one hour north of New York City I was in Ecuador for my first time ever in October but I went to manta. puerto Santa Ana Guayaquil, and riobamba I was only in Ecuador for 9 days this time I will be there April 30 till May 16 I wish I could stay for 2 months in Ecuador not 2 weeks I love Ecuador so much

Hello! Gabe was born in a private hospital in Guayaquil. He was granted citizenship and we were able to apply for the "Amparo" visa which give us permanent residency in Ecuador. Yes burgers were awesome!
