SALISBURY STEAK COOKING AND EATING

Ok. I made Miriam's Salisbury steak using the beefy onion soup from Lipton and the butter cracker crumbs, floured, sauteed then cooked it in the gravy (mushrooms added, though, because mushroom gravy is my favorite. ) This recipe WORKS. Best I'd ever had. Miriam, you are amazing.

@Laquita Thompson…you can use whichever ground meat that suits your palate. I go bettwern ground beef or turkey. For meatballs, I may mix a bit of ground lamb and ground veal as well. Enjoy love!!

Thanks Sis, I've never floured mine, gotta try that. Also I usually sauté the shrooms in the gravy but I bet the roasting gives a nice depth of flavor. Try Montreal steak seasoning, even the low sodium one is pretty good. Luv you and the live session was awesome, keep em coming. 🥩🥔🌽

I do the same, mushrooms in the gravy, not onions and onion soup (which I normally don't like as an ingredient.) BUT IF MIRIAM does it, I'm going to make it that way.

In our family when we make mashed potatoes we put just a little bit of crab boil in the water when boiling the potatoes. It gives them another dimension of flavor once you mash them and add everything.
