I was so excited to see you prepare your turkeys wings the exact way I do mine, for the exceptions while they're baking, I add chopped onions & celery just for extra flavor and the cream of celery soup is the bomb. I do the same with baked chicken, because I don't care for gravy.

Lawd miss Miriam, I miss making baked turkey wings & other oven baked recipes so much! My oven gave out last September and I haven't had ANYTHING oven baked since. I'm counting my blessings though! That's nothing compared to what a lot of others are going thru as a result if this small recession. When i hear that others less fortunate are actually forced to survive off of DOG FOOD..... I immediately start looking for all recipes that could possibly be made on the stove with no complaints. Thank you for this Miss Miriam. I was able to skillet fry my turkey wings enough to brown them and somewhat stew them without submerging them in too much liquid. They actually came out beyond delicious with a little crispness and they were very tender. Hey, if our ancestors made it do what it do BEFORE all this modern technology long before & during the "great depression," this should be peanuts for this newer generation, including myself..... you gotta just make do with whatcha got! 🥰

OMG ..That looks so good. I love love turkey wings. I don't care straight baked or smothered. I do mine 2hrs and 15 minutes. Last 15 minutes I put it on a low broil so I can get the skin a little crispy. It's so good.(baked ones) Has anybody every had them fried?

Turkey wings is like a delicacy in the hood. I live in a nice neighborhood where the meat markets allow you to only purchase turkey whole wings with the drumstick and flap. I got to go to the hood to git the just the flaps.
