Here is my opinion - Sally’s comment about the song has nothing to do with the song. It’s personal. Maddy said it but most of you didn’t pay attention to it. I went back to look at interviews Maddy made some years back about Wendy Shay. She said Wendy Shay is ungrateful and disrespectful. She was asked why and they said Wendy Shay called her a failure. This statement didn’t sit well with Sally because Sally is sympathetic to Wendy Shay. So, I suspect Sally’s comment about Maddy’s song has nothing to do with the actual song. It’s personal. Hence the reason why Sally couldn’t explain her comment.
