Take a look around the house and gardens of Hestercombe, near the village of Cheddon Fitzpaine in Somerset.
We were invited to visit Hestercombe, and looked around the beautiful house and some of its 50 acres of gardens. We were particularly keen to see Hestercombe's stunning Edwardian Formal Gardens, which were designed by Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll.

One of the highlights of my stay in Taunton was this visit to Hestercombe House and Gardens. I was really keen to see the formal gardens there, and even though it was still winter, they looked amazing. I can't wait to see them in full bloom! Where is your favourite stately house to visit?

i love these classical european homes. so much art work inside the house. the grounds there seem very cool too. the whole place just feels very magical. ya, a revisit later in the year would probably be prettier!

The art gallery was really interesting to look around, but a lot of the displays were in dimly lit rooms so I couldn't film very well

No, afternoon tea is quite formal, it's served at your table. You get a little stand with usually some sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and some little cakes. All served with a pot of tea (or coffee if you don't like tea), or sometimes with a glass of champagne or prosecco!
