..What I love about Salma from Mexico is that she has no malice in her heart. She doesn't look down on anyone. Unlike celebs like Ellen that judges others just with her energy, eyes and body movement. Salma was exactly like this even when she was only famous in Spanish countries. She has never changed. Inner energy and kindness wise she is exactly like another great Latina from another Latin country Colombia........by the name of Shakira. Those two are like kind walking angels on Earth.

I love how Salma described her character in the movie - it is so accurate in so few words. (*the movie is wonderful btw!!!*) So many actors these days just seem to promote their roles for promotional sake only - Salma seems like the type of person who is really trying to gain something from her experiences - which also alines with that positivity of solving a problem instead of blaming others in her marriage. Truly inspirational.

@@martilomas5330 African? Chinese? Nope! I'm Mexican Mestiza from Mexico and trust me your speaking of a very small percentage if any! Specially considering how big Mexico is. Most of us have Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and other European blood with Native ofcourse but that also depends what parts of Mexico. There is a tiny percentage in some part of Mexico that has african, (tiny) compare to how big Mexico is, so that's not the majority. Also Chinese that moved to Baja Mexico, such as Mexicali but most did not mix with Mexicans they've remained independent to their Chinese ethnicity, they stick together it's rare when they mix I know because I was born there. The average Mexican has 0 African blood and 0 Chinese blood. There's a greater chance of us having Middle Eastern blood such as Salma there's more evidence of that.

I love Chelsea… but this was not her best color, she kinda seem a bit envious or the dislike towards Salma is strong, because you can actually feel the tension in this interview, since the beginning where Salma made everyone laugh and Chelsea's reaction is clearly a pinch to her ego. She kinda made a “mocking sound” when she said that the proudest joy in her life is a healthy and stable marriage. She was a bit micro aggressive with her massage story and Salma was extremely patient with Chelsea’s dense and almost agressive approaches… You can even see how Salma is very patient in how she responded 7:25 after Chelsea’s inhability to hear properly to her guests with her trying to be funny.. it came as very passive-agressive rudeness in my opinion.

Maybe it’s the interviewer’s type of comedy, but I don’t get it. I find it unnecessarily harsh and brash, to the point of sounding rude and bitter. But I’m sure a lot of people get it, otherwise she would not have this program. But personally, as I said, I don’t respond to this kind of humor. Salma on the other hand comes through as a funny, sweet, real and self-assured person, happy enough to be generous and humble. But again, to each it’s own!
@IndomitableT Жыл бұрын
Actually it is her way indeed. I love how you are able to convey your opinion about the behaviour of the host without getting nasty about her as a person. Behaviour is seldom entirely autonomous, usually it is based on context and/or history and part of an acquired survival mechanism during life. To me it seems based on irony, mixed with sarcasm, and even cynicism, which works for more people than just her. I can imagine that it may come across as bitter at times, and it possibly is. It seems to work for her so far. Anyway, I do believe that these two are friends, so, if that is true, then there is probably no harm done.😌
