I too have the problem of no achievements. Also I just can't seem to find a niche. My videos range from stories that I wrote, stereotyping criminals, a short history of my grandfather, to early aviation and moaning about old age. Whatever grabs my fancy or attention goes into the next video. I know that I should specialise, but I do not know in what... Maybe I should start with "I am Grey With Glasses and as professional retiree I create videos containing useless but interesting facts?"

Thank you for a very thought provoking video. My current intro goes as this: "Hi everyone and welcome to my channel! My name is Lena and I'm an amateur piano player. On this channel, I share my journey as an adult returning pianist and I hope to inspire YOU to start playing again, too!". Am not sure what I can add as my biggest achievement or credibility - as I'm not a professional pianist, I do it as a hobby and only have 30 minutes a day to play piano (being a finance professional and a mom of a 18month old toddler, can't really devote more time to my hobby as yet.) My channel is mainly for other adult returning pianists - i.e. those who played piano in their youth and then never touched the instrument for many years only to rediscover their passion for piano in their adulthood. Any feedback on my intro is very much appreciated!!
@PatriciaMaxwell3 жыл бұрын
@pianoforpleasure I'm sure by now you've got your intro, but I was inspired to share. "My name is Lena and I'm a working professional, busy mom of a toddler, and amateur childhood piano player seeking to make time to rekindle my love/passion for piano--and hoping to encourage and inspire fellow adult pianists to rediscover theirs. Follow me as I share my journey, challenges and victories over navigating the adult demands of everyday life in the pursuit of piano for pleasure." Or something like that. What do you think?
