Yay your channel is finally back! I was devastated when I was in the middle of watching your SM64 Star Road playthrough and the next day it was all just gone. Still gotta wait till you get around to bringing that one back up but till then I'm sure this will do a good job at keeping me company. I remapped jump to Z (Because I played hollow knight before and after 50 hours it just felt natural) but you can't unbind grab from it. DON"T DO IT, CRAMPING ON SIDE B. Also,Totally gonna be playing alongside you for this one.

You said assist mode was one of the best things in the game, but i disagree, i know you didnt go into detail on it yet, but i have heard so many people make comments and such on how good the assist mode is and i don't fully understand. I'm not trying to argue it shouldn't be there because the developers can do whatever they want with their game, but i kind of think it takes away more than adds. Even if if it doesn't take away and im just exaggerating, i dont think it adds much if at all. Im curious to hear your full reasoning later on, but the main reasoning i saw from others was its great because it lets everyone "experience the game", but the way assist mode does this kind of takes away part of the point of the game doesn't it? Maybe im the only one who see's it that way.

I will go into depth later but basically, it was really sad when I had tons of friends who were super excited for Cuphead because of the style, bought the game, and then played an hour of it and quit because it was too hard. It's comforting knowing that Celeste won't have that situation with anyone.

Fair enough i suppose, but i still disagree that its one of the best things in the game. I feel like i'm looking at it from the perspective of the games intent and you and the other people who really like assist mode see it from the angle of just getting to experience how good this game is. but for me part of that experience and deepness is connected to the difficulty, and that's just a whole separate debate on game difficulty and intended play that i suppose doesn't really matter here.
