Grew up fishing Salmon Creek in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Walked every bit of it from 50th Ave to Felida Bridge. Back when the creek went around the one lake, not through it. On normal flow conditions it is pretty much frog water below Cougar Creek. Watch for the rebar sticking up in place in the rapids at Hwy 99 bridge. There used to be a small slough right below Klineline and we had a boat and large plank hidden there for several years. Float down stream and then drag them back up. Fond memories. I still recognize almost every turn and fishing hole and I haven't fished it in 20 years. Since I moved to the Olympic Peninsula.

Awesome video! Wondered about floating sections of this in a small kayak. Where did you end up taking out?

We are looking to do Klineline park to shoreline, is looked like other than the first bit, it was pretty calm and easy? We are beginner SUP'ers and will have young kids in a kayak. Bad idea? Thinking about doing Lakeshore to river lake instead, but since we live on Salmon Creek I really want to try it. Thanks for posting, I haven't found much!
