very beautiful!!! i have heard it is much better and for the fish and fisherman when switching the tremble hook for a nice strong single hook, for some reason you lose less and easier to release when you want, an added secret is to add some style to that single hook by adding some feathers or maraboo and such as to give it a fly like appeal and extra movement! great video =)

great fish, does the dam not affect the salmon migration?

Hi Andrew, the dam has a fish pass and a lift that takes the salmon on to the spawning grounds but they have difficulty getting back down after spawning.

True, but as i only take a few salmon every season it is better to take the hatchery fish or the odd one that i know won't survive release.

Hi Darren. the fish was caught late in the evening after the water came on, it probably pushed the fish back from the dam and into the lower lie.
