Thank you Stephen I have been humbled with the thoughts from anglers that have viewed my offerings . I have added the videos over the last few years to help myself through times that have been difficult and found that there have been so many that have enjoyed watching my efforts and muddles when going fishing Alll the very best tight lines. The air temp was low and the wind coming from the North East my hands were so cold that when I put them in the river it felt warm . I'm not used to being cold but it was good to get out Cheers Iain 🥃

Lain Checking in on you not viewed any trips since 2022. So sorry for your loss. Lost my wife December 2021 after a long cancer battle of 18 months being her care taker. It will take time to heal great your back out their on the rivers though. All the best Hal 🇺🇲

Hi again Hal I remember from a previous comment about your loss and my heart goes out to you and hope that your family are still helping you with getting use to your loss Frances said to me for quite a few years as her condition worsened that I should get out fishing asap after her passing I found it did help and I think that a lot of people thought that I was copping well when they saw me but in reality things were difficult going home to an empty house . I think because I had been Frances carer for a number of years and promised that she wouldn't have to go into hospital or a care home I missed her so much when she passed and was lost for quite a while Cheers Iain

Thank you Jack I have found everything difficult Frances made me promise a few things and one of them was to get out fishing again . I think that part of the fishing was to spend time editing whatever I had recorded and keep myself busy. Cheers Iain 🥃

Thank you Andrew I have found life a bit difficult and Frances kept saying to me that I had to get out fishing . Frances had gone on trips with me over the years and new the friendship that other anglers had towards their compatriots and new that it was something that would help me cope. Thanks Steve You have possibly gathered that I have lost Frances . Frances told me that I had to get back fishing. It has been difficult and I had to cancel the first trip I had arranged but made it out this time. its difficult at the moment coming home to a house with only a cat Cheers Iain 🥃

I knew something was up Iain in all fairness but didn’t want to ask , as you said you hadn’t been out since August last year and I said to Sharon that I think something has happened. Hi Mr Mazo My mate John used to go fishing with a ghillie that kept swearing at the fish and that never worked . I think that whatever is said it helps the angler more than the fish Cheers Iain 🥃

I wish that I had chosen a different line Paul I don't think it suited the rods and I was forever having to force my cast and suffered for it in the morning Cheers Iain. 🥃

in the morning I used a sage 12.9 TCR (stiff rod) in the afternoon 15ft sage Z Axis . The Skagit was one of the first from Rio and the taper never suited the tip . the time I hooked the fish I was using a 5ft fast sink tip so wasn't fishing deep
