In this video it was mostly 8'6" or 9' medium fast action rods .... this year i used an 11'3" 10wt fly rod and it was awesome! New salmon video coming soooon!

Hahaha at the salmon river most of the time no… we were fishing the DSR at the beginning of the run so first dibs on fresher kings but at the end of the day it is flossing lol I got to experience dropping floats for kings using skein at the Genesse River and my brother casted spoons off the piers for em so it was definitely awesome to experience it the real way! But I have seen people float fishing skein at the DSR before too with luck!
