I was up there over the labor day weekend and got a nice female about 17 pounds, had another on and lost it and got a small steelhead about 6 inches long all on a chartreuse spinner i made.

I always see people casting towards the middle of the stream. Is the assumption that Salmon always use the middle of the river to go upstream?

@raversmash No, the salmon go where they want. they don't need much water to move. Sometimes, they'll shoot between your legs. Fising pocket waters with good flow.

Salmon/Steelhead use the easiest route upstream unless being harassed!
