Salmon Smolts in the Lade HD 1080p

Another video shot 2 days after the last one I published. Since then the gates have been opened slightly to allow more water in and the bywash stop logs removed to allow greater flow out. Theoretically this should encourage more smolts to leave the lade where their numbers have built up. Of course more will come in too but the important thing is that they keep going downstream and reach the sea.
I'm not sure numbers have reduced that much yet.

great relaxing video Stuart , nice to see them moving in large numbers and very healthy looking, i didnt see any marked by predators.

None in this video that I saw with beak marks but I didn't check all the raw footage. This was made to illustrate that they were still in the lade in numbers despite attempts to flush them the day before.
