Salomon Trail Running 2022 | Pulsar Trail Pro & Pulsar Trail Preview

I still use a couple pair of SLab Sense6 when I'm doing a serious run: Perfect sizing that is not too narrow or too long, precise, firm & low-slung but with zero post-run foot pain -- the Sense6 is *the* benchmark for Salomon trail shoes, including all the models since. A direct comparison video between Pulsar Pro and Sense6 for sizing, protection, & performance on technical terrain would be much appreciated. BITR are pretty lackadaisical on trail shoe reviews, but someone needs to do this comparison.

how does the Pulsar Trail compare to the Ultra Glide?

Anyone know if the Pulsar Trail Pro has a toe box similar to the S/Lab Ultra 3? From photos i have seen it looks like a similar profile...I really hope it does as the Ultra 3 fits my foot perfectly.

Robbe and Taylor and BITR: Great series of 2022 shoes interviews. Thanks! BUT you guys are starting to look very tired physically and mentally .... and saturated with/overwhelmed by the marketing lingo! I don't think I've heard the word "reimagined" so many times in less than 10 minutes anywhere else! :-) Well done all! :-)

Salomon get lots of things right but also lots wrong, they should listen to their communities feedback/reviews on the website and take those comments into consideration. I hope they have for future iterations.

The pro looks amazing. The lug depth looks shallow though. Possibly making it more of a commuter shoe 🤔

Ditto on the pulsar lugs, only about 3mm but I have never needed more tbh. Although obviously for seriously muddy/nasty terrain this isn't the shoe I would use anyways. At 700km the lugs are still there and have outlasted 6mm lugs from the sense 6 and 7 SG! Incredibile stuff. These Pulsar are generally for dry and compacted terrain, lugs don't make the difference here imo
