For a beginner beginner…meaning ZERO experience, it’s always better to take private lessons, if you can not afford private lessons, a small group class would do! Practice a lot in your own! No pain no gain 😅💃🏻💕

We’re dancing salsa on 1…maybe you’re not aware that there’s different styles of salsa. Not because you only know what you know, it means the other styles are wrong 😅

Dalia, when you do paso basico, you have to make 6 separately steps! This must be clear and is rull number ONE! Get ready first and after go to make demonstrations! You both have technique of beginners, sorry! Many wrong steps and movements!

Hi Love, thank you for your comment. Yes, you are absolutely right. There should be six steps total in the basic step and on each 8 count throughout the dance. …at least as a beginner. If you ask me, technically speaking, I’m able to explain every single step from the basic and advanced moves from the syllabus, since I am DVIDA certified & NDCA licensed…so I know the book pretty good. I’m not saying I’m perfect, but I know a thing or two hehe. To answer to one of your questions, none of the steps or moves are incorrect, that I can assure you. Which makes me think that you might be confusing it with a completely different style. This is social salsa on 1…not ballroom salsa, not on 2, not Cuban,or any other. How long have you been dancing for? It could be a bit confusing at the beginning if you don’t really know what’s going on and if you keep watching different videos. So my advice for you is…find a good dance instructor to take private lessons from. Also, if I can help you, I’m here just make sure to point out the exact time on the video, and I’ll be able to answer your questions more accurately. PS. If you like my vids, keep watching, if you don’t…don’t watch…no need to hate 💕Getting frustrated does take you anywhere…enjoy the journey 💃🏻💕💕
