How not to punch your dancing partner when spinning?

Nice question! Everything you learn you do them when Dancing shines away from your Partner + make ALL movements much smaller. When learning making them larger is for practice, when mastered (especially the arms) can be done with less than half of arm movement thus making you "safer" not to hit anyone else also in the face! This is a very useful explanation. Thank you for it. However, this figure could be dangerous in same cases: the preparation with opening arms could hit the partners in the social dancing. Is there any other preparation with closed arms to make two turns?

start with folded hands like hagging yourself and use only shoulder rotation to do them~ ;)

May be a simply question, but where do you turn on your left leg? On the "fingers" or on the heel? Maybe use the full leg?

As male Salseros we can choose the Heel or the Ball of the foot.( Just before the toes) I personally am a Ball spinner and use heels very rarely for correction while I'm spinning~ :) Never spin on the whole foot, the friction will be SO much you will damage your ankles.. Hi, good video I really like it. I have a quite different question, what kind of shoes are you wearing ( the red ones in the video ) ? What would you recommend for best results?

Just 15 euro shoes that are like socks on top and only have plastic bottom~ I think it's my floor that is good no the shoes. Best shoes for spins is actual leather like salsa shoes, sports, tango etc~ That can spin even on carpets! ;)
