YES YES YES!! My family did this in 2018. It was the BEST excursion I've ever been on from any cruise line in any country.

agree we have done it 3 times and it is still a blast every time...also always walk over to Cerveceria Tres Islas Brewery and it is very nice...it is a walk opposite of the blue line but we have never had a concern from anyone watching us...

We did a snorkel, horseback riding, Beach lunch, but the whale watching was better than on our whale watching in cabo! Absolutely amazing even though the boat was very iffy! One of those that look like a blow-up boat and three hard to get in and out of for sure especially in the water! It was in Puerto Vallarta not Mazatlan! We did a shopping in beach day excursion here. I knew it wasn't right when I saw the port.

Hi Lisa. you and your group can book it directly with the cruise line before your cruise, and they will just use a resort in the area. We contacted them directly to book a private excursion since our group had over 25 people and although the cruise line excursions were full, they set us up at what they called a "backup" location, The Don Pelayo. It worked out great for our group.
