I am enlightened. Excellent way of explaining the timing and why and how to dance on one or on two. People around me always choose one of timing and dances either on 1 or on2 all the time no matter what music plays and advocates superiority of either of the timings . But as you say, the music and feeling should lead you to choose timing and having fun is the ultimate goal.

Just listned to it and at 2.09 you hear 3 strong beats! After those 3 beats the Campana takes over from the Bongo!

Why do we need to dance Salsa on 1 or 2 , what if we just use the beat to synchronise our moves. I've noticed some Latinos just dance to songs not on 1 or 2, they know the song & synchronise their moves to what they know is coming next. 😊
