Just a suggestion, if you get two sticks ( in this case 5 mm thick ) and roll your dough between the two sticks ( moving them as needed ) you will always have all your ornaments of equal thickness ( no skinny side one edge and a fatter one on the other edge !) I do this for pastry too ! works great .

I loved the simplicity of your art and the creativity of each individual piece whilst sticking to so few colors. Also loved the bows/sting potions. I keep watching your video as I am creating some fund raising ornaments. Thank you so being such a great inspiration.

These are just adorable. I was looking for something to do with my grown daughter and her family as a new family tradition. I think this will be one of the crafts we will do. Also, I have used this dough to made round balls with a hole through as a replacement for the wooden balls when I was out. You can make them what ever size you need. They look remarkably like wood when they dry. Thanks for the inspiration! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Aw that’s so lovely! I’m honored to be a small part of your new tradition 😁❤️ I love the idea of making your own beads too, I would have never thought of that! Merry Christmas to you all🎄

Celebrate the Holiday’s Sustainably: • Use spices + dehydrated fruit slices for ornament decorations, instead of unsustainable glitter • Use homemade glue + twine + dried flowers instead of tape • Reuse gift bags + Tissue Paper instead of buying more wrapping paper… it ends up in the trash anyways • Save + reuse gifted tissue paper, and iron out the wrinkles on a low, no-humidity setting.

I loved making those, one yr my kids and I made enough for a whole 7ft tree but we didn't coat them in anything and the moisture in my basement ruined them all. I may have to make some again w my grandson this yr. Very pretty, Thank you, Hannah. I adore your fluffy fur baby.

Aw thanks! They're so much fun. I'm quite lucky in dry Denver, no moisture issues but I've heard people have issues in more humid areas. Aw thanks, he's a good boy my little Pippin 🥰

These are so adorable, great video, thanks so much for sharing. Truly love these!!! ❤ I’m wondering for myself, is there a way to get a more uniform look during the baking process? Idk if I should place a very light object on them as they bake to ensure evenness? Suppose I won’t know till I try? 🙆🏻♀️
@hscraftytutorials2 жыл бұрын
Thank you ❤️ it’s worth a try, I can’t see why that wouldn’t work. You could let them air dry too, that’s another option. I was too impatient to do a comparison of the baked ones I made and some air dried ones because those took several days to dry but they basically stayed the exact shape they were when I cut them, no splits or anything! 👍🏻

This was quite satisfying to watch. The color scheme was really unique. I don't have a oven. But a microwave. So any tip on how we can do it then.??
@hscraftytutorials3 жыл бұрын
Thank you I'm glad you liked it ☺️ If you haven't got an oven then that's OK, you can let the dough air-dry. I don't know if you can use a microwave, I've not heard of that before so I would stick to air-drying. Lay the pieces out flat for about a day and then turn them over and leave for another day. Keep turning and leaving until the pieces fully dry out. You will be able to see and feel that they are ready in the same way as if you were taking them out of the oven. Hope that helps ☺️

Scented Can you add some scent to these?
@hscraftytutorials2 жыл бұрын
Hi Julie, I don’t know is the answer, sorry. I’m not sure what scenting the dough would do or how long that would last. If you’re not up for experimenting you could always add other scented elements, cinnamon sticks, dried orange slices etc. X

Do you need to shift it I don’t have one
@hscraftytutorials2 жыл бұрын
I think it helps but it's not absolutely necessary. It just makes it easier to mix thoroughly x
