I was walking downtown past the temple one day about three years ago, there was a guy dressed all in white pretending to be the lord on the streetcorner.

Pretending to be God is exactly right! Because God is spirit and we are to worship Him in Spirit. ( John 4:24).

@@kayjohnson4062 That's awesome, I would like to see more people dressing up and pretending to be God. Imagine if we all did it as a society for a few days, what a difference it would make. Not to mention the comedy value.

@@glennlewman1377 My hope, love and prayer for Mormons is that they will pick up the word of God, without suspect, and ask God to reveal truth to them. Acts 17: 24/ God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. KJV Respect Jesus Christ sacrifice as much as you admire the HANDY work of men.☝✝️🙏

@@kayjohnson4062 The message behind all of these statements is consistent-there are similarities between Freemasonry and the [Latter-day Saint] endowment because Masonry is a product of apostasy or degeneration from a priesthood-based prototype. Latter-day Saints possess the authentic version.” Consider the following examples: Willard Richards (16 March 1842): “Masonry had its origin in the Priesthood. A hint to the wise is sufficient.” Heber C. Kimball (17 June 1842):“ There is a similarity of priesthood in Masonry. Brother Joseph [Smith] says Masonry was taken from priesthood.” Benjamin F. Johnson (1843): Joseph Smith “told me Freemasonry, as at present, was the apostate endowments, as sectarian religion was the apostate religion.” Joseph Fielding (December 1843): The Latter-day Saint temple ordinances are “the true origin of Masonry.” Heber C. Kimball (9 November 1858): “The Masonry of today is received from the apostasy. . . . They have now and then a thing that is correct, but we have the real thing.”

@@kayjohnson4062 he did dwell in the Tabernacle Israelites were commanded by God to build while wandering in desert for 40 years and Gods presence would be inside the tent Tabernacle. We know that that our body is a temple of God " whos Spirit dwells within"." Know ye not that ye are the temple of God".so all scripture needs to be taken into consideration.the temple of solomon followed some of the same ideas that were incorporated in the tabernacle such as the Holy of Holies.
