If the Lord's prophet on the earth has authorized a renovation to prepare a temple for a magnitude 7.5 earthquake, you had better get your food storage in order!

Good luck and God's blessing to the whole renovation team. The 3D computer renderings are beautiful and very informative. Thank you.

I am amazed with the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. once the renovation is done I would love to visit and see its marvelous work of salvation. I love my saviour Jesus Christ he is our redeemer and I believe there's only one Christ whom we worshipped as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know Book of Mormon is a word of God, he is a companion of the Holy Bible both old and new testament to testify that Jesus is truly the Christ. I just want to share my testimony that I gained and still gaining every single day. I am grateful to Prophet Joseph Smith for his dedication to knowing how he will be saved and he did not hesitate to share this even many are against it.

This temple has special meaning to me. My ancestors worked hard to help build it. I'm happy it is being preserved. I have a question, are temples neccessary for salvation or to reach the highest level of heaven?

Jason Yes. They really are. We’ve been commanded to be married and sealed in the New and Everlasting Covenant. We cannot obtain the highest kingdom without it, plus our deceased ancestors who didn’t have knowledge of this Gospel, who accept it on the other side, can still be saved. With our willingness to go to the temple and perform the ordinances for and in behalf of them, they too can be accepted into His kingdom.

It's kinda crazy to see people demolish a Church building (😬), but I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! 😁❤️

It wasn't a church building. It was a visitors center.

The Japanese have done wonders, with there buildings, especially when it comes too earthquakes! maybe they could help! There is a program on NHK world that shows how, and what they've done it's amazing! 🤔🙏 But remember, we are told in the scriptures! That certain tribes, were given certain skills which did indeed, bless the children of Israel in ancient times.😊 Im looking forward, to the new look! But part of me is sad😢 I hope we never forget the sacrifices, that were made by those before us! that worked, and give so much, to build these wonderful buildings in the first place.🤔♥ The Lord is good, all the time. Bro Kirby managed the Provo City Center temple build. A very challenging project. If anyone can succeed with this, it would be him.

This is a cool project, but I have a tangentially related gripe: I took my family to Temple Square the other day to go to the still-open north visitor's center. But all of the lower level exhibits were inexplicably roped off. No construction. All of the lights, even the spotlights on the exhibits, were on. No private events. A couple of missionaries apologized saying the exhibits were closed. Good grief, why?? Those were the exhibits we came to see. No mention of that closure on the church website that we could find. And they were visibly complete and viewable. But we weren't allowed to view them except from behind the ropes at the base of the escalator. Seemed like very poor planning. I hope that was very temporary? The sisters didn't seem to know.

Well, with 135 billion in the bank, they can afford it. However, I don't see the church lasting though to completion.

Well I guess that could be that we shouldn't expect the Second coming of Christ for about 4 years then? Personally the sooner the better. How can the world become more fallen?

The Church continues to help, the spend a billion in 2021 on helping man kind. What are you doing to help? 100 billion is nothing compared to Jeff Bezos and Musk...Look how much money they are not spending on the homeless and humanitarian aid. Just luxury, teslas and rockets.
