I bought the Salt Supply S2 and the new Sabre. The Sabre loads like the TCP/FSC. Both are great.

I knew you would like up till you broke it. I used to be one not to read instructions also, but when the wife saw how much I liked my less than lethal hobby, she had one rule. Read instructions or no more new toys. I like my toys and love my wife, so I read instructions and have her watch KZbin videos of the next toy for the collection. 😊

DK you crack me up. Good video regardless. I call that a parts launcher now ripe for modifications. Still need to get my hands on one of these. Cant wait to see the new one in action.

@DKSpencerCustomKinetics if they were using magnets to keep the mag in it would be better mabey that safety is the first thing that needs some talkin too

Yep, I kind of knew this would be a problem since the design is quite different from a regular pistol. This S2 is quite similar to the Umarex HDP50. Just smacks of Umarex to me.
@DK-Spencer11 ай бұрын
Feels tougher then most Umarex stuff though
@burnout48611 ай бұрын
Just saw a other video about this it seems that there is a safety to only allow the mag to be released when the gun is om safe. So I guess forcing the mag out destroyed the safety?

Where did you get your TCP comp & barrel shown at the beginning of this video, and will it fit my FSC? Thanks Doug

DK - could really use your advice. Bought a Hogue Grip for my S2. Hogue recommended the model used for the Sig P320 which also has a beavertail. I'm 70+ yrs old and while I don't have the hand strength I used to, this Grip is not like the one you purchased for your S2 even after I stretched it, heated it and used Windex, all instructions Hogue recommended. Would you mind recommending the Grip you did purchase from Hogue so I can enjoy my S2? Thanks much.

@@normsimon9133 I use the 1700 on them and the FSCs, TRP, etc. And when you get one use hand sanitizer it works better
@normsimon91334 ай бұрын
@@DK-Spencer Appreciate it DK Thought the hand sanitizer would cause the Grip to slip around on the S2.

D.K. What kind of oil are you using on the CO2? I’m new to the hobby, what is the best practice for oil use with this? What type do you use? Do I need to oil the barrel also? Thanks.
You do not need to oil the barrel Just put you a couple of drops on top of each of your CO2s as you change them

I have the mercury rise mug 50, its designed the same way, rubber balls that have seems on them, them cheap gummy after market ones, cause mag to stick if tryna release when amo is still left in mag, there is a small Allen key hole at top in case that happens, I use nylon, pepper rounds and aluminium and they work fine, the cheap rubbers got stuck but my safety ain't stick!

Does the S2 have a manufactured cut line on the top and bottom of the trigger guard on the right side? If so why did they do this? It looks like it does on some pictures on the web.

So, is it smaller than the 1st salt gun? Smaller than the Byrna Le? Or the Umarex? Kool, when I get mine, I guess I'll read the directions. Thanks 😅
@BrilloHead11 ай бұрын
Actually, the LE is smaller than an S2. I know because I own an LE.
@protocolsev11 ай бұрын
Little smaller than the first salt gun. Maybe slightly larger than the HDP50 due to the removable magazine

Oops. chit happens. I had an interesting reaction when I fired up my Mission 4 without reading the directions. At least Amazon is allowing you to return your marker. Sounds like Salt Supply has good customer service.

Also if the mag gets stuck. Use the little metal tool it looks like a pin. Stick it in the hole on top. They give it to you but do not mention it in the instructions 🤷♂️🤷♂️
