When screwing back into plastic its important to go in reverse until you feel a click. Then go clockwise to tighten/ Otherwise you can create new threads making them weaker.

Question i got 5/8 steel balls from Amazon they were rolling out the barrel of my hdr68 but i figured that would happen so i thought about wrapping ductape around them now they are sitting nice.. they weigh 16.6 grams each now.. have you tried any such thing before? I plan on testing them soon hopefully its not a failure they are even tight in the barrel

Yo DK, and for anyone looking....I bought 4 of this exact red dot. Here's why: they have good glass, an awesome reticle selection onboard, and they seem well made. I've got 1000 rounds down range through a Ruger SR40c topped with one of these via a Galloway Precision Plate. This is a pistol that has lots of recoil, which is why I chose it at my test pistol for this dot. When it held zero and never had a single hiccup after a 1000 rounds, I jumped in on 3 more. I'm going to top off some of my range pistols with these. So far, dare i say it, these seem as nice as my very favorite Holosuns. The real test will be to see how they hold up over time. So far though, I'm super impressed. These cost way less than Holosun too. My other budget dots are Zulisy and I've had nice service from them as well. I refuse to buy Cyclee due to their pricing. That's one opinion boys...cheers
