I'm wanting to make a larger version of this but more like a whole ocean biome for my sons' room. They're both so intrigued by animals and I think it would be a great educational piece and awesome craft for myself. Would I be able to just fill an actual small fish tank with resin? I know I'd have to add it in layers to make whales and such look like they're floating but I wasn't sure if directly pouring it into a tank if it would still look aquarium/ocean like.

Hey there! New to your channel and loving it.. But I was curious what the purpose of mixing the colored clays with translucent is?
@nerdecrafter9 жыл бұрын
***** Welcome to my channel =D mixing with translucent gives the colors a softer feel, so it looks more realistic. I tend to prefer mixing colors rather than using them straight from the package. This gives projects more depth ^_^ You don't have to though, I know lots of artists who don't =D
@mollyiris16199 жыл бұрын
That definitely makes sense. While I'm assuming mixing with white changes the color too much. Really inspired by your videos.. I think I'm going to pick up this craft it just looks so fun! Thanks for the videos and thanks so much for answering my question :)
