I so enjoyed this floss tube again as I do all of your fposstubes that I have watched so far, only recently found out about flosstubes, so lots to catch up with. I am a new stitcher (well, have not stitched - but quilted - for 3-4 decades...), lots to learn and was pleasantly surprised when you showed the Northumberland Sampler Elizabeth Lincoln 1815 chart and linen. Even though it is still beyond me , I did buy it as a future project because I just fell in love with it (I bought the aged biscuit linen with it). However, this chart has some special stitches (like the linen stitch) which I have never done and the online video's do not help as they show larger shapes like leaves. In this chart the satin stitch is used for really small squares that make up a letter. So when you stitch this chart in the future, could you please show us or explain how you go about this?

I enjoyed this so much! Your Blackbird pieces are stunning! We just had hurricane Lee and then Philippe come this way, and we were very lucky with very little damage in this area.

May I ask Where do you get your crossstitch threads etc. I live in Orange Park and find very little here.

I didn’t know about the mentions either. It is great to watch people who stitch what you don’t…there is beauty everywhere even if it doesn’t fit your wall aesthetics. I wonder how many stitches are on your walls….can you imagine counting?

You are such an inspiration! I love your attitude about doing what we love and not worrying about how many that actually is. Well. According to Webster I just dinged all the bells on the crazy train!!! Obsessed with quilting. I do machine quilting and needle turn applique and then crazily add embroidery, beads, etc. I entered a quilt (well 5 but 4 are done) into our show in October that is still in pieces. It is all needle turn - embellished and I need to put it together and then quilt it and I move the quilt and do dense, custom quilting. CRAZY. I’m glad I’m getting caught up with all my Floss Tube friends and I’ve missed watching yours. Also, you did great on your first video. My hubby is saying the same thing with me starting a quilting channel.
