I was saddened to hear that someone was leaving nasty notes to your videos. Two years ago when I found flosstube I broke an ankle and was unable to walk for 7 weeks! If it weren't for you and other wonderful flosstubers I would have lost my marbles! Your work is beautiful and it is such a relief to know that other stitchers have lots of wips. Thank you so very, very much for your videos.

Hi Carol - your framing is great - keep going. I lace and pin - the pins are for the tweaking. Look at thrift shops they have great, inexpensive frames as well. Have just been cutting paper templates in either 36 or 40 count design size so I can take them with me and put the paper on the frame to see if it fits. Have saved a fortune doing this.

Hello Carol! I watch all your floss tube videos, but this is the first time I have ever commented. I have cross stitched off and on since the 80’s, but became obsessed with knitting, cooking and gardening while working and raising our family, so had little time for other hobbies. I returned to cross stitch briefly in 2014 while recovering from a big surgery, but set my stitching down again after returning to work. I so wish I had discovered floss tube back then! The CS fire was lit in January, discovered FT, and have not looked back! I am amazed and humbled by your stitching productivity! Your stitching is lovely. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

Carol, you and Olivia (Pumpkin Hollow Quilts) are the only FTs I watch. I have jettisoned everyone else. Why? You are both REAL, and are true stitchers. Your analogy of starting a border is like getting acquainted with someone new is a perfect description. You put into words what I feel about starting a new piece. I don't necessarily start with a border but it seems to take some time to get familiar with the way the chart is printed, how the colors look on the fabric, how the fabric feels, etc. It takes me a little while to get comfortable. I also loved your comments about how much you can stitch before the Lord calls us home. Being older, I feel the same way. I started stitching about two years ago and wonder how fast I can stitch ALL THE THINGS! Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to you and yours.

Hello Carol! Thank you for another lovely flosstube. I like your new haircut! I always listen to your opinion and now I use to border complete my wips, before moving to all the motifs inside. When I didn't, I regretted it, because my border didn't meet. Yesterday evening I was sititching the border of the Winter Sampler by Crocette a Go Go and I was thinking about it as my first date with the sampler. Of course we do personalize our wips! We don't have Thanksgiving here in Italy, so we do celebrate August 15th, All Souls and then we move to Christmas! I wish a Happy Thanksgiving and many hours of Happy Stitching!

Carol, I LOVE your haircut! You are such a beautiful, Happy Queen within your kingdom! Sorry you have an ugly troll, it amazes me how some choose to spend their time, trying to make other folks uncomfortable, what a waste of precious time. I think your Hawk Run Village is beautiful & the trees look amazing. I know what you mean about starting huge projects at our age; I find myself looking at all my "want to starts" while deciding which ones I really want to spend my time on because I know there are many that will be left behind. I just wish we all could have used that mindset when we were 20 instead of now when we are 70ish! I loved seeing your new starts & have several of those on my Radar for this Christmas season. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving with your family and know that you are on my Gratitude List as I count my many blessings this year! xoxo

Hello Carol, Enjoy watching your channel as always. Loved the big fat snowman with the red bird on his head. He is so cheery and makes me smile. Not stitching myself now, just got out of hospital and I hurt too much right now. So I am doing a spot of cheering myself up with binge watching Carol. You are so good for the soul. Happy Thanksgiving Carol to you and Michael aka Mr Saltbox Stitcher. He makes me laugh with his editing. Good for deep breathing ouch though for the stitches. See you again soon. Have a great stitchy time and family time.

Love all your stitching. I just finished Queen of Harvest - I hope you enjoy her as much as I did! Just block the troll - people like that aren’t worth your time and aggravation! I LOVE your metaphor for meeting someone new when beginning a border. I think I have MRtha Jefferson - I might need to pull that one out and start it. I hope Professor Saltbox is feeling better very soon. Happy stitching and a blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours.

I also do border first or it’s guaranteed to have stitches off. My Sunday stitch is His Eyes are on the Sparrow because of you and I absolutely love it. Mine is on 32 ct weeks parchment. One more motif and top part done. Mine is big. Still love it the most of all my projects.

That’s fantastic!!! Beth stitched the original on 28 ct. so it is huge!!!

Well, I don’t know who is posting those horrible negative comments but I just want to say that you are my most favorite floss tuber. There are many others that I like a lot but you are my favorite. I will sit there if I’m doing stuff in the house and will sometimes just listen to you in the background because I just love your personality, I was on a trip recently and couldn’t really get much on the TV and I really wasn’t watching TV anyway so I had you on in the background. I’m single and alone so I always like to have something playing in the background. Anyway, keep up the good work and once again, I love your work and these are my favorite podcasts😀

Your hair is looking great! You have so many beautiful things to show us. His Eye Is On The Sparrow is gorgeous! I haven't work on mine in a good while. You've inspired me to get it out again. I think a Sunday stitch is right on time. I hope the professor will be feeling better soon. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Hi Carol. Thank you for such an inspiring video. I keep a notebook by my stitching chair and had to pause a couple times while taking notes😊. I am anxiously waiting an order after watching too. What I love about you is that you stitch seasonal and everyday samplers and the reproductions. They all play so nice together. You had mentioned in a video you keep, your framed seasonal on a wall until their time to be displayed. Can you share that wall in a video? Have a blessed day friend.
