I know the feeling. Spent many cold days in the back of my father’s F-600 dump truck sanding parking lots by hand.

Get your self a walk behind fertilizer spreader for lawns they work great just pour it in and start walking much easier and you don’t have to put your hands in the salt to spread it out and you can also use them on a side walk just take it back to the shop and then you can wash it out

@Spacebug23 we have 3 of them lol. We'd still have to refill it a bunch of times which would involve bringing extra salt with us. So kinda just an extra step for no reason

Where I live they usually do the truck thing. One of the oldest trucks gets the job of Watermain, and emergency truck in the winter months. It has a load of salt on the truck. This is so the night guy doesn't have to worry about loading the truck.
