I drive this route on OR very often (demo model 1), it comes with a timetable, an activity, a class 27 (and a consist), and some trains for AI, I used the timetable mode to get a train with a class 47 and turned up the speed to make a Super47.

I once passed a dwarf signal (the ones on the ground), and went on the wrong platform! 9:18 It was 68008 that you saw! 10:15 the name's wrong! the real 68008 (what u saw) was named "Avenger", and was in Direct Rail livery, but the one you're driving is named "Daring"! 1:00:16 many routes are missing that sound! 1:01:10 never got that message before! You seemed to do fine!

This scenario isn't realistic in any way, there is no way it can be without the full Fife Circle Line being in TS (which it isn't) so I imagine many compromises had to be made. The class 170s were written off this line for the story (gives the 68s an excuse to go along it) but once written off you can't use them as AI, that would be illogical.

I cannot say whether one edition is better than the others, its purely down to the type of trains you enjoy. While you can download routes, they often come with multiple DLC dependencies meaning you can't use them until you own X route and X train etc.

You can drive it in any route with Quick Drive. But if you want to drive the scenarios, you need Edinburgh to Glasgow route Add-On. I do not own Edinburgh to Glasgow but i use the 68 on my route. I don't use many DTG routes to be honest.
