Hey Mike! Still here! You're like the zebra pleco that is a pleasant surprise when he shows up out of nowhere! Always good to see your content, and I'm glad to see the salt water tank is still going strong. Zo's are true Bostonians....they "love that dirty water". Hey you live your life, the family's the most important. The kids will be grown and gone in a flash if you're not paying attention.

I moved to Southern California from Florida over a year ago (tired of hurricanes) and gave away four of my five tanks and all my fish and plants. So stressful trying to keep my fish alive during power outages. I have one empty 55 acrylic that I’m hanging onto. Your 40 gallon saltwater tank has been an inspiration to me to go saltwater. I understand completely how it’s difficult to find the time to enjoy your tanks when family and life takes up all of your time. Hobbies aren’t fun when they become a chore. That said, I’m hanging onto to my last tank until I find the time to set it up. I do miss your planted tanks as they were amazing.

Very well said. Tough to live a hobby but not have time to care for the tanks

Just my 2 cents on tank lasting a long time.... I have a used 135 gallon Oceanic(no braces in the middle) that I bought in 1993. It lived 18 years as freshwater and 13 years as salt and is still going strong.

A MASS Aquariums video is always worth a watch. It's nice to hear experienced hobbyists talk about things the mainstream channels won't touch. Majority of channels are all cookie cutter these days...

Still here! I always enjoy watching your content. Would love to see you build out something new. However, I understand the time commitment. I’m traveling a lot myself and having a new tank isn’t in the cards for me either. I sold all of mine about 2 years ago. I miss the hell out of it though. Keep coming back occasionally and give us some updates!

@@MASSAquariums you can take an ice cube to the foot and try to get them off. or you can slowly try to peel the foot off. ive also seen some take the rock out of water its on and hold it upside down to just let them drop off the rock
