i'm for sure going to have to get some of these baits for when i'm in cherry grove next, would be so cool to catch that many. i don't keep any but love catching them. drag along the bottom and see what happens, huh?

Yes sir drag it on the bottom. And sometime flounder can pick it up with out you knowing. If you feel weight set the hook. Hook sets are free. And what helps me is ALWAYS keep tension on the bait. Even when you pop the bait up and down. Try and keep tension even on the way down from the pop.

Good times for sure. I'll be. Fishing cherry grove inlet this end of June. Any good tips. We rented a house right on the inlet. Gonna fish off our dock and I'm bringing my john boat too.

I’ve had good luck with artificial baits on a jig head. Depending on current. Is what weight jig head you use. But a good average is 1/4 ounce jig head. And get you some gulp pearl white swimming mullet. It’s always did good for me.

@@anthonylewis9572 flounder, trout, reds mainly. And you may run into some black drum, sheepshead.

I know the feeling brother, seems like 13-14 inchers are biting…….. I’ve had some nice 14’s but no keeper yet, but they are still fun fish to catch, tight lines man!!
