Salt generators can also struggle to keep up with chlorine demand in hotter climates ... which will require traditional chlorine products(shock) to boost the levels. So the suggestion that a salt pool doesn't need traditional chemicals on-hand is false. Salt generators also cause pH to continuously increase ... requiring more muriatic acid to be kept on hand to counter this effect.

salt generators do NOT struggle to keep up with chlorine demand. Thats 100% false. Never used a drop of chlorine in 10 years since I went to salt. Chlorine is horrible. Salt pools do NOT need chlorine. I use a whopping $5 of muriatic acid per year. Wow. But you must enjoy that smell of chlorine, itchy red eyes, bleached swimsuits and irritated skin.

the salt will mess up any wooden furniture near your pool.

If your pool leaks, it uses lots of salt. 40 lb bags. Expensive repairs. If lightning hits pools, fries cell. Uses lots of acid. 😅

Probably just the voice was written in text then generated. The whole video probably was edited manually. Now they can do the whole thing without doing any manual labor..

Wrong. To salt over chlorine, as it is still using chlorine, you just make it a tablespoon at a time.
