When we purchased our 40' Blackwell Custom Carolina Express boat, we had no idea that it originally had been a pilothouse boat instead. But luckily, Greg Sheets had gone through the long process of taking it from an ugly pilothouse boat to a beautiful express boat. This video shows you the unique history of SPEECHLESS.

I'm sure when the original owner had it built , the Chesapeake deep trolling for rockfish was going strong. Alot of boats were built the early 2000s for trolling the bay. A 40ft custom.carolina pilot house was perfect for winter time trolling , it gets awful cold in Dec Jan as you guys know.

It's ironic that a Carolina boat lived in the Chesapeake Bay, then returned home after 7 long years. I know that Edwards and Markley, in Middle River built a fair number of Carolina style boats as well as a few builders in the Crisfield and Deal Island area. Question on the 619 Glue Marlin DQ for a shark bite. Are all IGFA tournaments this screwed up over fish mutilations? I haven't fished tournament for Blue or White Marlin in almost 35 years out of Ocean City MD. If I recall, the entry fee per class was $2500 for a total of $10,000 or $12,500.

Every tournament is different. This has been a Big Rock rule for a long time. Unfortunately there are a lot of details that they or the igfa needs to spell out to make it iron clad. Either that or just get rid of the rule
