Honestly the most interesting thing for me was to see how much force they put to the ground because it was clear to see it

Kuma Films I used to live near there. It is one if my very favorite places on earth. A great place to film. The landscape is ethereal and breath taking. The flats are not soft. Those acrobats are hitting the ground pretty hard. Such a cool art.

Jetrin Lee go to the salt flats in Utah if you ever get the chance. Its beauty is mind blowing. If you walk out into the water and look away from the road, you will feel like you’re on another planet. Sound is absorbed by the flats and the mountains around are astonishing. Worth traveling to see👍🏼

Great video as usual!! Just a curiosity: in the first shot are you zooming out while moving forward? 'cause I've never seen a dolly zoom effect on such a scale and I can't tell since there are few references being the foreground so uniform
@kumakumafilms4 жыл бұрын
PJMasaiGG Yup, that’s exactly what we did. We did it in post by filming in 4K then digitally zooming out while the drone flew forward.
@PJMasai4 жыл бұрын
@@kumakumafilms I see, thanks for the reply! It's interesting to me since I never considered such a possibility: using the digital zoom to obtain a dolly zoom. It definitely is much more controllable on set than dooing an actual optical zoom. Of course it works well because you shot in 4K, otherwise the image would loose sharpness. At the same time it is partly different from an optical zoom since the focal length doesn't change while zooming, therefore I guess that with more objects in the foreground it would provide a different feeling. I definitely have to think about it!
