Honestly, when he mentioned that she was "flirting" with the killer it was a huge red flag. i wouldn't say they're just as bad. not everyone has the strength to stand up to someone like that, especially if he's like this regularly, they might be stuck in an abusive friendship with him and are afraid to leave or speak up, even when the opportunity presents itself like it did in this video when she finally spoke up. i know from experience i've been too scared to stand up to friends like that because i didn't want the same treatment turned onto me instead. it takes a lot of bravery and confidence to cut someone like that out of your life, and it's a lot harder than you think to just simply understand that removing and blocking people is an option.

I can kinda relate to the girl in this video. Last week when the Halloween event started one of the people in my DBD group chat asked if anyone wanted to hop in and play some SWF. A few of us said yes and got a party chat set up. One of the people who said yes didn’t join the chat or the game for like 15 minutes at which one of my friends (another meme er of this same DBD group chat) hopped in the chat party and lobby and was looking to play. One member in the chat immediately started asking why they joined or were here and when they simply said they wanted to play some DBD this person asked if we wanted to do KYF or something. We said sure why not we could do that when the other guy joined if that’s what people want. We readied up in the lobby, this guy started getting incredibly angry at my friend saying they’re being an asshole and acting super shitty because they joined when we already had a 4th (who was still a no show) on the way and that both my friend and ME are being awful for the fact we readied up. When we tried to say that we simply figured we could play a match or two while we wait for the other guy to join since we had a full lobby atm, they started yelling at us both and calling us all kinds of names and ranting about us being shit friends because we would dare to ready up and try to play while waiting for this no show guy who still had not said anything in chat in 20+ minutes now. We tried asking why this guy was so angry over such a silly thing and that we simply wanted to play a match since we’re all sitting here together waiting to do KYF anyway, now the guy took back his suggestion to play KYF and instead said both me and my friend to to GTFO of their lobby and the DBD group chat because they didn’t want to play with people who would act the way we were apparently acting. They went on a rant asking who ever even invited us into the group chat to begin with cause they hadn’t done it and when we pointed out that this person isn’t the god of DBD and that we’ve been here playing with plenty of people in the group for well over a year now they got even more pissed and kept telling us both to get out of the lobby and group chat cause they refused to play with assholes like us. We refused and they deleted me from their friends list and blocked my friend.

This actually kind of has some comical timing, I just recently got a friend while streaming dead by daylight and she was actually in a very similar relationship to this . I found her through the toxic friend and it was quite the awkward and interesting thing for me to be there, so for context, my parents and siblings haven't always had the best relationships with each other, so I definitely know what bad and toxic relationships look like and we just kind of kicked the toxic person out cuz he bad-mouthed my friends saying that he started it trying to gaslight, me and the three of us just weren't having any of his shit

the match woulda most likely been about 5-10 more minutes, he coulda stood up and said brb washed his face went to the toilet and then came back fresh for the next match. You bound to have a bad match eventually you can't have a perfect game all of the time I'm always sitting in spectate mode if I escape or get sacrificed so I can watch my friends to see if they escaped

A huge thing I learned from my years in Rainbow Six Siege is simply that, when youre dead/out of the game- youre *not* out of the game! Give intel, try to help determine the killer's perks, etc! There's tons you can do even as a spectator, and thats what makes a team so strong in these games!

Things you can do while spectating: 1. Be helpful and kind, you have information they may not have right away, you can be more perceptive. 2. Play a game while you wait, mobile,computer,flash game,etc. Talk to your chat where applicable. 3. Just leave the match and do something else while you wait. Use it as a chance to get a bathroom break, get some food or some snacks,etc. Edit: side note, blessed that girls heart for taking up for herself. Hopefully she can find a better community to be apart of.

I've played dbd frequently with someone I met on Deviantart who liked my art and vice versa, we still play nowadays and if things are looking grim, we sacrifice oirselves to give each other a chance to escape. I used to play with some friends a long time ago, who did nothing but blame me for dying every time the killer found them first. First “i didn’t take the heat of the game” and “he saw you first, but went for me instead” - and when they finally died, they used to take their anger and frustration out on me. It went for almost a year i took their BS, until i finally stood up for myself and threw them out of my life, and now i could not be more happy. These actions/situations are bad, and this guy don’t deserve that girls friendship. Big big respect to her!
