I have TC and they do fine but Im trying a few early flowering types in a new bed next year. The reason is simple. Bugs! Every bug that walks or crawls comes here in summer.

Yep, got hit last year in Nashville. I have a question about what variety I may have. Hope you can help. I have a thornless, semi or erect type that is blooming right now ( 4/1/2024). It's about 3-4 years old and it sends up the biggest primocane(s), like over 1", like no way I'm cutting them with branch shears. Any guesses on the variety? I have a hard time figuring out how big to let it get cause it seems like a tree almost, lol

Of course I messed up. I just got my shipment off prime ark from you last Friday and live in zone 6b Virginia.. lol, oh well we'll see how it goes for a few years

No you haven’t messed up…u just need to make sure you watch them bloom and cover if it’s going to get cold
