It absolutely blows my mind that the beginning went the way it did, like Derek could've easily lost his run right within the first half hour if he chose any pokemon other than igglybuff, but he didn't. He didn't know that, he didn't know any of the other pokemons moves (except Abra because well, it only knows teleport), and yet luck somehow landed in his favour. It's just an absolute miracle that it happened the way it did, and y'know what? Igglybuff *is* worth a damn because of it.

If he'd had hoppip I bet he'd have been able to use it properly-struggle, synthesis, struggle, not like the A.I., who used up synthesis before using struggle.

@@D3niz3n The problem with that is Hoppip’s base stats are complete and utter trash, but Igglybuff has enough base defence to survive most attacks, and with its defence curl on top of that, it’s even harder to kill. It’s the same reason why everybody hates fighting Metapod; too much defence, and spams defence curl. So even if Derek healed Hoppip after every struggle, he wouldn’t have had enough time to overpower a max defence curled Igglybuff.

@@D3niz3n also on top of what I said; I don’t think Hoppip knew any other move than synthesis… so he would’ve just run out of synthesis, struggled, and then he’d kill himself with struggle.

I was waiting for the final episode to be up so I could watch it all in one go. I can already tell this is going to be much more memorable than the first, and that's saying something. These production values are really charming- almost as much as the game's limited 3D.

Wonderful Video Salty! I can already tell this may as well be, the most epic season by a long shot. Just the fact that you started it off with that superb animation from the start, and how well the lore connects all together, it like a chef's kiss on top of a superbly funny season. God I love the limited animations in this video it's so charming But seriously I've been so hyped for this. This season was so fun to watch on the VOD channel, anf even if I missed the last 2 streams, I still had an insane blast.
