Some characters can do more with 1 bar, like Big Band after he taunts or Beowulf if he has hype. Robo Fortune has different ways of converting with one bar, like using her magnet super to pull you in after an HK launch (and adding in an extra head drone), but then you'd still need an extra bar if you want to finish with cannons. Fukua as well can use her supers as part of combo extensions via BFF after M. Clone or fireball near the corner and just pick the opponent up with a low.

Good video, if theres something people need when starting to play the game it's slowed down footage of the most common combos. I apprechiate the effort you put into this since I know that most skullgirls players are too lazy to make detailed combo videos like that. However I have some serious criticism about some of the bnb's you show in the video. Fortune players will always tell beginners to do a fiber loop bnb since it is the most consistent, most common combo fortune players use. For good reasons, for once it leads into her best resets and it is also completly happy birthday safe. I don't want to get into the details but you get the idea. The fortune bnb you showed isn't close to what fortune usually does. Your squigly bnb is something I wouldn't recommend anyone to do as a squigly player myself. It has way harder execution than her most common routes and does less damage. Finally I don't understand why you didn't just include an universal bnb for filia and robo but you did put alternate routes so its fine. Ultimately I apprechiate the video but I think you should have put more research into it. Asking skullgirls players what their character bnb's are and why these are the common strings ect. I hope you don't feel offended about this, godspeed salty

Thank you for your input, and trust me Im not offend at all! Im really glad you spoke your mind in order to make sure the right information is given. I'll admit I could've done more research, and I do apologize for that. Also I know when something is optimal, that means it's the best/ more favorable outcome for a given situation. and for me to state that these where optimal was idiotic. I got it confused b/w optimal and universal. Trying to make my own combos with characters I don't main without heavy research, and then calming them as great bnbs is very unprofessional as well. I love this game and I want to help people get into it, but I also want to make sure that Im giving out the right information as well. So any feedback and criticism is always welcome! Especially if it's states any faults in my videos, It's never my intention to give out bad info. As I continue my channel Im constantly trying to learn things about every character (That isn't my main) that I never really paid attention to before, and it's a lot. BUT that is no excuse to half-ass my research or rush a video. Im actually doing heavier research for the other tutorials for the Skullgirls Sessions series, which is way it's taking a while for me to post this Beowulf one. So again Im really sorry for the misleading information, but I can say with full confidence that my future tutorial videos will be much much better!! Your comment just shows how much you care about this game, it's community, and that newer players are brought in with the proper knowledge. So again, Thank you for your input! One issue we have in the community is the perception that no one plays, when in reality we have an active user base with people who play almost everyday online. Hey, I really like your video! Very straightforward and clean, great music and all. The only thing I really find unfortunate is that there is no notation of the combos anywhere, and I'd have, as a beginner, to try to find each of theses move before trying to do them myself. It would have been great if you'd put them in the slowed part, in the description or simply linked a Google Doc with all the combos you showcased :) Anyway your video is awesome and it just gave me the little motivation I needed to start the game again! So a lot of people have been looking for the notations even though I put it in the comments. So I looked into it and for some reason when looked for it on my phone it wasn't there, but my notations comment was visible on my desktop. Idk if it's like that for anybody else but I just pinned it so let me know if you can see it now. ( Also I'd recommend looking into the SG wiki link I posted in the description. It has better/optimal bnbs that are easier to pull off! Along with character guides as well! )

I love this game but I could never play it especially since I’d have to study it to be ok at it not even good, and not many people play it anymore either, this is why I like smash. The whole art style of this game is awesome though and it used to be fun to play with my friend because we were both bad but then I got better and we stopped playing lol (I made my own filia combo that I’m sure won’t work against people that actually know how to play)

they are not I'm sorry. the normal charged squigly bnb does about 8.3k damage and has easier execution. if you want the resources I can provide them
