On the drivers side ,under neath so you can see transmission module, there will be a black canistor located at the gearbox module as the car has no gear box but the foward neutral etc, is located here , remove cap,using a T25 driver bit rotate clockwise for 18 /20 turns this should unlock park and the vehicle can be moved, make sure vehicle is chocked as it could roll, good luck on the Fiat ,by the way that fiat will take on all the cars in yard to 60 mph

You could always pull the drive shafts out of the box or hubs. The wheels will be free then. Just a thought. 👍👍

As an EV owner and driver for over 10 years and a certified Electric Head (According to the wife) am glad to see you working on them, and you have your self a bargain the battery pack alone is worth well over 6k as that's what 5yo+ Renault Zoe ZE40 parks go for on ebay
@BigDave1965Күн бұрын
Vauxhall/Opel was purchased by PSA in 2016 , they then merged with Chrysler / fiat and formed Stellantis, to get it out of Park you can undo the Park Finger , needs to be turned 80 times , that motor looks like the same one as we fit to the Vans up North. Badged, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and Fiat , badge engineering at it's best. Any advice on how it works get in touch. By the way make sure you charge the 12v battery while it's off or it will not go into ready mode. Plus recharge the Aircon.
@duncancassarwheelan6777Күн бұрын
worked on an ecorsa recently, main reason it would not start was fan motor damage and those brown relays for it on the left. as soon as we plugged in the new one and replaced the relay and some fuses it was fine. since electric motor and batteries depend on the coolant, it will not activate with no fan motor communication. 2021 corsa, used the autel diagnostics.

If you ever have problems moving cars due to wheels locked or handbrake will not release, use baking trays under the wheels for easier moving both on and off the truck or on concrete/gravel surfaces.
@ooheaven1459Күн бұрын
If it's anything like my old 500e there is a park release on the end of the transmission. Looks a bit like an oil filter housing with a rubber bung in the end. Remove the bung and you can wind the park off with a t20 or t25, can't quite remember which. It takes quite a lot of turns. Access is from underneath.

Perhaps this: "Yes, the Park lock can be released manually. The transmission locking pawl is activated by a small electric motor, mounted at the top front of the alloy casing near to the air conditioner compressor. There is a small hole in the end of the black steel body of the motor, filled by a rubber bung. Remove the bung and insert an Allen key ( 6-sides, probably 2.5, 3, or 4mm ). Ensure the transmission is not under load from drag or the weight of the vehicle, then rotate the Allen key about 25 times. I don't know the direction to turn, maybe it does not matter - try clockwise first."

Maybe I'm alone, but I like the fact that Stellantis exists. Putting all those brands under one umbrella means we keep them going, for less outlay in terms of design & manufacturing, while still keeping each brands individuality intact. My Citroen C4 is very different to a Vauxhall Mokka, though likely shares a number of parts; not least the 130bhp 1.2L Turbo petrol engine? Seems like for once someone in the car trade had a good idea. imho.

Surprisingly I had to read quite far down into the comments to start reading the ‘milk float’ ‘washing machine ‘ ‘EV garbage’ type comments which is indicative of some progress and that people are seeing through al the FUD about them as more and more are on the road. Essentially it’s a relatively easy repair, with lots of generic Stellantis parts available. Make the most of it boys I think bargains like this won’t be available for that long!
@AI-Records2423 сағат бұрын
There’s lots of “fud” about them but also lots of completely legitimate concerns and opinions. Not everyone wants to drive something without an engine, fair enough, you like what you like. Safety concerns are real, risks are real, think of the guy who got locked in whilst it was alight with his granddaughter in the back (1years old). Thermal runaway is real. Most of them aren’t nice to drive, the batteries don’t last as long as people need them to, they are expensive to purchase and they depreciate more than an ice so financially some of them don’t make sense when you account for that, cost of installing charger, higher insurance etc. Then there’s the political aspect, we don’t want to be priced out of ice cars in favour of everything being ev, for one the energy isn’t clean anyway and you have to do a lot of miles to offset production emissions so they aren’t cleaner other than “tailpipe” which is the only good thing about them really, along with cheap home charging (which could also change in future as tax is doing) another is they are a lot easier to restrict usage of/build nefarious technologies into etc/limit speed/report violations , government overreach is very real, everyone should be concerned about that and people should be free to purchase what they like whether that’s a Tesla or a V8. Next is the weight concerns, they are a lot heavier and therefore damage roads more than ice cars do, our roads are already done for, if everything is 2-3.5 tons then what are they going to look like in 15 years? In short there are legitimate concerns about the way things are going and I’ve not even mentioned everything, so rather than just thinking you’re better than others for liking an EV maybe look into why they dislike the technology being pushed first, and share their concerns around freedom.

Should be able to put box in neutral by winding the gearbox in manually. If the same as Peugeot and Vauxhall then it should have an oval shaped cover on front of gearbox with 2 screws in. Then once that’s removed you just wind the screw(8mm I believe) about 90 times until it’s out of park. Better done with all power disconnected as when you put ignition back on it can put it back in park again.
