fabricators are the mvps of custom builds... its not just welding , its figuring out 3d jigsaw puzzles

And Tim's got it nailed down to a science; especially when it comes to making sure nothing gets warped or messed up when it comes time for it all to get welded together. It definitely is a lot more than just knowing how to work a welding torch!

@GlassWerx3 жыл бұрын
I know it would been alot more cutting and fab work but those turbos would looked good sitting in the headlight buckets too. I know it's been done alot but on that big orange beauty I think it would have looked Hella clean and maybe added some ornage angle eye type rings around the turbo inlets kinda distract the eye away from the turbo and make ppl think it's just a light n keep going
@SalvagetoSavage3 жыл бұрын
That would be sick! They're just mocked up for now so we might just take that idea into consideration!

The bodies wouldn't really be too different between a stock manual and stock auto trans. Maybe just a slightly different opening in the tunnel. But we're sticking a completely different trans set up in the car so we had to do some major modifications!

Why not cut the inlet manifold and angle down instead of chopping hood?!
@SalvagetoSavage3 жыл бұрын
It would be a bit easier to move the supports under the hood and get it to look clean than to try and re-angle the Holley intake. The body is getting a fresh coat of paint when it's all said and done. So cutting out the underside of hood makes a little more sense to us

@SalvagetoSavage3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. The tunnel won't be completely symmetrical because the firewall jogs down at very different angles on the passenger and drivers side in order to fit the pedal box in.
