Furthermore, the rock that struck the iron and clay feet in Daniel smashing the statue in Nebulkenezer’s dream that grew into a huge mountain replacing everything was Yeshua ( not Stone). Peter ( the stone) denied Yeshua three times before the cock crowed. Peter was a great apostle but Yeshua is the Ecclesia.

@@bruhidk3069 correct. Yeshua spoke Aramaic and Hebrew. Aramaic is a mixture of Hebrew and Babylonian and was a regional equivalent of Yiddish. The Talmud which I do not follow because it is NOT scripture is written in Babylonian and ‘ultra orthodox’ Jews know it. I don’t, BUT the literal translation of Peter is stone and Yeshua was using word play. Some argue that Yeshua has no sense of humor, but I believe he does, and it will be revealed more clearly.

Acts 11:26 - “ in Antioch the disciples were for the first time called Christians.” It obviously doesn’t go against God’s Will that followers of Jesus be called Christians. It’s in the Inspired Word of God. I am not of the Tribe of Judah by race, but I do consider myself a “spiritual Jew” as a Christian. Maybe we can meet each other half way? Peace brother

The lecturer mentions more than once his obsession with feeling loved in his childhood and early adulthood. I never experienced that because I have always felt loved. If one does not receive true unconditional love from one's parents, then one will not only feel unloved, but will also develop a coupled self-loathing and over-investment of loving feelings in the self, a "grandiose" false self comprised of internal images of idealized segments of the early childhood experience (manifested as idealized parts of people and representations encountered in adult life). A great deal of anxiety accompanies the self-loathing and utter emptiness inherent to narcissism, which is induced by early childhood [emotional or physical] trauma from parents who show their child conditional love through excessive and misplaced or inappropriate/disproportionate punishment and/or praise. Note that praising a child no matter what can also result in this pathology.

@@benavraham4397 psychoanalysis was never intended to be performed at such a distance on the basis of such paucity of remarks. in east asia, it is nearly unheard of for parents to verbally express “love” for children, and often appear cold and distant from a western view, and yet not all, say, Chinese exhibit this certain pattern of psychopathology. From what I have read above in the original post, there is no assertion of a link made explicitly between the observed commentary on “feeling loved in childhood” and adolescence (I felt loved by my mother and yet I have no issue identifying with feeling unstable or alone, misunderstood and even unloved throughout the end of latency and early adolescence; surely this is not a sign of psychopathology but rather a developmental stage in the psychological development of the child). Following the observation of the author’s comments on feeling loved (or lack thereof) OP provided vaguely clinical assertions regarding common patterns of pathological bonding given the condition of early childhood attentional or even physical deprivation and or abuse. It is a bit of a leap between the lecturer’s own words describing a spiritual experience he underwent in his youth to this wide range of psychopathological symptoms, thought distortions, and even goes so far as to connect this simple turn of phrase to narcissistic personality disposition and traumatic influenced pathological bonding patterns implying a larger personality disorder type syndrome. If you or any other commenter could please lay out the linkages you apparently feel is self evident between the speakers words and the syndrome described subsequent to the observation of his use of that phrase. Is there any other indication of childhood trauma, abuse, or other causative factors contributing to narcissistic personality structure as described in this video? Or are you just flexing your novice psychoanalytic skills and imparting us all with a totally irrelevant possible personality profile that may result from such an upbringing that is in fact never invoked in the talk itself? The connection as phrased above is truly tenuous and I really fail to see what there is to so fervently defend in it. As a side note, the analysis given of narcissistic personality as result of parental abuse or detachment is actually not the standard in psychoanalysis or clinical psychology, and seems to be a substitution describing an imagined but possible presentation of a client with some form of cluster b/personality disorder; however, symptomatic narcissism as described above does not necessarily imply that as the proper personality disorder diagnosis- self involvement, rapid or extreme de/valuation of others that vacillates between extremes of idealization and devaluation of others, emptiness and anxiety, self loathing or really what seems to be described is an unstable sense of self - these are rather hallmarks of borderline rather than narcissistic personality disorder and neither of the two are described fully by the generalized appraisal given by OP. The bar is low in the youtube comments I know - but at least if you are going to make an argument from psychopathology of the speaker then at least do so explicitly and not by unstated implication

@@marguerilla I don't do not claim to be a professor of anything. Like all people, I have ideas about other people. In regard to Judaism, I think that a person must have an enormous merit from long devotion to the service of G-d, in order to be privileged to witness any sort of Divine revelation. He simply is not the type. So what he saw has another explanation.

The speaker came to Christianity as an atheist. He had personally rejected the word of G-d and G-d Himself. Why did he reject the Tora? No clear answer! Then he had a dream of the most beautiful girl imaginable. Is that surprising? Jews chasing alien gods is compared by the Prophets to adultery. G-d allows idol-worshippers to perform miracles in order to test people. Miracles by heathens mean nothing. Zero multiplied by a million is still zero. Jesus was not the Messiah because he did not change this world. War and idol-worship continue. The Redemption is discribed in Deuteronomy chapter 30, as all of Israel being returned to G-d and returned to the Holy Land. Since the Babylonian exile, the majority of Jews have been outside the Holy Land. The ideology inspired by Jesus lead to Jews to being persecuted and further dispersed. That is the opposite of the Messiah. There is NO prophecy that the Messiah will return from the dead. So, if Jesus recovered from his ordeal with the Romans, it is irrelevant. Jesus never built the Temple of Ezekiel ch.40-43. He did NOT fulfill the prophecies. He did not establish cities of refuge. Therefore he did not fulfill the Tora. The notion of a second coming of the Messiah is from the Pharisees, but Jesus rejected the Pharisees. So there is no excuse for unfulfilled prophecies. Isaiah 52-53 never says the Messiah will actually die, but rather the Messiah believes that he will die as a martyr, and that resignation to death itself make the atonement required in the prophecy, and then the Messiah will have length of days. Jesus got himself killed as a young man. That is NOT the prophecy. THE DEATH JESUS DID NOT ATONE SIN. He simply died the same as the other two men executed with him. The prophecy of Isaiah 52-53 will be fulfilled by the true Messiah in the future. The Pharisees were right, and pork is pork!
@benavraham4397

@po18guy What is the difference between the British Museum and the Catholic Church? They both carefully preserve ancient manuscripts that they consider not binding upon themselves. No difference! You say that the Tora is not "rejected" with pork on your breath. Get a thesaurus and choose a different word, but reality is obvious, whatever you call it. The Messiah so will bring all Jews to full Tora observance. Jesus was an excuse to live as a Gentile, and therefore could not have been further from being the Messiah.
@benavraham4397
@benavraham4397 Жыл бұрын
@po18guy What is 2000 years? The Tora, Prophets and Writings were written over a period of 1000 years. During the majority of those generations, nothing was added to Scripture. Scripture was written in spurts. We are now in a time between revelations. But even so, the great rabbis of each generation have awesome insight, that would pass as prophecy by Gentile standards. The course of history protects the Jewish nation, although individuals die at the hands of the wicked. During the 70 years of the Babylonian exile, there were no sacrifices, but the covenant from Sinai continued. The same situation is now. The Temple described in Ezekiel 40-43 has never been built, and that future Temple will be eternal. (Jesus failed to fulfill that prophecy, among countless others). At present, we are under the dominion of the fourth monster from Daniel, which represents Western Civilization. Be patient. It will pass and the Third Temple will be built, and all the sacrifices will be offered from day to day.
@benavraham4397
@benavraham4397 Жыл бұрын
@po18guy Also, it might interest you, that the concept of the Second Coming of the Messiah is from the Pharisees. Where do you see any idea of a Second Coming of the Messiah in Scripture? Also Scripture never says that the Messiah will rise from the dead. Also, Isaiah 53 says that that the Messiah will "lengthen days," and not actually die, G-d forbid, as Christians claim. The Messiah will accept a martyr's death, as Isaac did, but at that moment, he will "lengthen days," and not die, just as did Isaac did at Mount Moriah. When Jesus died on the cross, he failed to fulfill Isaiah 53 and left that atonement to someone else in the future.

@po18guy It is written in Leviticus and in Deuteronomy that pork is forbidden to eat.Yet Catholics eat pork. Even the Amish eat pork while they read the Bible. How can you look right at something that the Bible forbids, and do it openly with no shame or regret? The word of G-d is eternal. I do not understand how Christians claim to be the new Israel, but live as heathens? When you have contradictions, and no explanation, that is shallowness.

What on earth was Mary doing in Bethlehem when Jesus born? She should have been in Nazareth with her father! Why in Nazareth? Because Mary was betrothed. Betrothed means that her groom gave her the wedding💍 in front of witnesses, (and she must receive a full devorce to free herself from her groom). She is supposed to be betrothed for 12 months, and then they make the full wedding🎊🥳🎉 and she lives with her husband. Until she is fully married, she is forbidden to be touched by her groom. So why is she travel four days one way with her groom, whom she is forbidden to touch? On the other hand, seeing that is nine months pregnant🤰, and unwed🚫, who cares!!!🤯
