This is not true, God was not the one speaking in Philemon 1:14 but Paul. Paul wrote to Philemon, that he would seek Philemon consent for Onesimus to stay back with him. But without your consent I wanted to do nothing, that your good deed might not be by compulsion, as it were, but voluntary. v. 14 Philemon 1:3-14
