Why would they? In amateurs they can win, in professionals the best they can hope for is the semi final. No rush.

There is lots of showmanship and razzmataz, etc which is great to a point, but the longer it went, the more aggressive and frantic Salvo got. At least, that's how it looked and felt to me. It's a highlight of one's career to dance solo at Blackpool, and I think Salvo got a tad carried away with the occasion and overcooked it. . Having said that, I think the dance skills have improved substantially.
