After watching last nights game, his route running is terrible. Rodgers put the ball where he needed to and on multiple occasions Garrett had no idea it was coming until it was too late. If he shores up that route running he'll be a top 3 receiver.

Garrett Wilson should be the poster child for a buy low. Rogers always takes a few games to get going anyway. The run game and D might cap him some weeks but he's still top 12 WR all day. If you can get a bite on a low end RB 2 or something like that id jump all on it. Buy low, sell high. Everyone knows the quote but few can actually follow it.

The move isn’t to trade ford over what could have very likely been game script, the move for Ford owners with bench/space a droppable player should have grabbed foreman off waivers if the fab price was right (or he was available right after waivers cleared for nothing). I have Higgins and Engram, so I didn’t have that luxury- but how in the world do we sell high on a guy whose production could have been hampered last week because of game script? If his numbers go back to something closer to week 1 who am I getting back. Personally, i don’t want someone like Amari- and I specifically wouldn’t want Amari- he’s attached to a QB who looks like a shell of himself. It’s also pretty easy to see how it could get better- game script is better in future weeks, and their o line gets healthy. I’m not some ford truther- dudes going to my bench once Higgins is back (unless waddle is terrible without tua, which he could be). I’m just not convinced I’ll get equal or better value trading him at the moment in a 14 team league of guys who know what they are doing.

Only way you should trade Dobbins is if you can package him with another good asset and upgrade considerably into something like a JT, an Achane, Barkley, etc. Otherwise, you drafted him in the 11th round or later and you're playing with house money. Bye weeks are coming and you'll need RB depth. He's not going to score 40+ yard TDs every week but LAC wants to run, run and run some more so that's what they will do. If you can't get a kings ransom for JK heading into this week, hold him and just enjoy your win. On the flip side - if JK has a down week he's likely a smash buy because of all the reasons I just mentioned and how LAC wants to use their offensive weapons.

Saying that because JK Dobbins scores a touchdown on a 40-yard run, that explains his slack of red zone touches is misleading. That's one play. He had big runs in week 1, but he didn't score on either of them. His TD in week 1 came from in the red zone. A single big run for a score is not a counter-argument for that stat. Dude has been killing it. Wish he was on my team, but this guy is making it seem like he can't stop scoring from distance. Especially the way he worded that statement. "He's scoring touchdowns from 40-plus yards out." Thats false. He scored a touchdown from 40-plus yards out. You could also say he's scored on half of his red zone touches. Both of those are meaningless stats. I agree he's a sell high candidate, but when he talks about upgrading for a guy "we know for sure will probably push for top 10 at his position" - that's a non-statement. You can't say know for sure and then add on will probably push for top 10. That is making it sound like these guys are locks, but then he's hedging against their performance. Any player could miss time with injury or whatever, so you shouldn't be hedging your statements based on that. Its just another misleading statement. Chris Olave is the guy he jumps to. I also agree that Olave is a good buy low guy to go after. But he's never finished inside the top 20. The saints offense is rolling right now, so you have high hopes for him. But if derek carr comes back down to earth in the next few weeks, that doesn't mean anything. And the fact that they are putting up huge acoring numbers without Olave having big games means that he's not a guy thats absolutely integral to their success. He's the most talented reciever they have, so you expect him to pick up his production. But Olave is in no way a guy you "know for sure" will be a top 15 or top 10 producer at his position. All this makes me not trust what this guy is saying. Which is funny, because i don't necessarily disagree with that basic statements he's making, but his process feels unsound and his rhetoric feels deliberately misleading.

If you have 2 other RBs with solid floors but missing a reliable WR then it may make sense to try to upgrade your WR by selling high on Dobbins.

Godwin is the biggest sell high in the league right now. Seems crazy you see him as a hold. First off, he has caught 15 of his 16 targets. That doesn't seem remotely sustainable. More importantly, though, he is leading the league right now in fantasy points (at least in half ppr) off a couple of 8 target games. The fact that he is in the slot for these makes it seem even MORE unsustainable. Go back to 2023 and look at his games with 6-8 targets. Hardly any of those games yielded double digit scores. Further, of his 5 games where he had 10+ targets, only 2 of them yielded 15+ points (again in half ppr). Give the guy back Jameis Winston and I'm on board. This isn't a revitalization of 2019. Godwin will end up a top 20 guy, top 15 at best, and if you can sell him as a top 5-10 guy right now YOU NEED TO BE DOING IT, because his value will never be higher.

What do you think of Mike Evans right now? I am legit worried for him w Godwin emerging so strongly. When teams double Evans they will have NO problem switching gears to target Godwin. I was offered James Conner for Evans straight up. I really like Conner but I'm pretty stacked @ RB... should I do the trade? I dunno if I'd even be able to start Conner. What I really need is an upgrade @ WR since my top two WR's are Evans & Garrett Wilson who is struggling. The Jets really look to be a run first team that also targets their RB's in the pass game a lot, & Rodgers has looked shaky on his deep balls. Any suggestions? I'd be fine trading Evans or Wilson + a piece to upgrade if I could. Lol he'll there's a part of me that almost wants to trade Wilson straight up for Chris Godwin, specially if this usage for Godwin continues.
