The funniest and most tragic thing about Everton last season was their fans cheering like mad for winning a corner at Anfield, I'll never know how Liverpool didn't just win the game but obliterate them, it was one of the most gutless & embarrassing performances I've seen from a team at Anfield, they were punting it out for territory like a rugby team.

Everton never would have been relegated no matter what. Squad is way too good to go down. They just panicked far too soon and ended up with a Manager who should have been saving actual struggling clubs such as Stoke City, Swansea City, West Brom or even Watford instead like he always does.

Geof Thompson He got you an 8th place finish. About right for Everton that! Honestly how much higher do you think you should have finished? He was hired to keep you up from relegation and he did it easily!
@geofthompson38446 жыл бұрын
@@95Lodgey no one really questions that. It was ok considering but that's not why I or any other Everton fan hate him so much. We hate the way he took credit for the 4-0 win over West ham which was Unsworths'( beloved at this club) last game as caretaker manager. We hate the way he says he saved us from relegation. After that result against the Hammers we were 13th. 6 points off the top 6. He never progressed us. The football was the worst I've ever seen at Goodison park. He always took all the credit for anything positive and always passed off the blame for failure onto someone else. He was smug and self important towards the fans and if you don't believe me ask any Everton fan...... Or any Newcastle fan or any West Ham fan. He didn't save us, he stole 12 million quid and depressed everyone with a soul. Would you swap him for Bielsa ? NO ! Of course not. Because he is a self aggrandising ego maniac dinosaur !!! Everton though currently placed 7th in Premier League according to popularity in the UK, are nowhere near the top 6 teams in Popularity and fan base. In Europe, if football fans, in general, consider English Football clubs, only these 6 clubs come into the picture. For Manchester United fans or Liverpool fans or Arsenal Fans or Chelsea Fans or Man City fans or Tottenham fans, Everton FC will always be considered a small club. The truth is bitter to swallow.

Everton have more league titles than four of those clubs youve mentioned. Hahaha What an idiot.

He really is a disingenuous bullshit merchant isn't he? Going on about Everton playing good football under his reign and not being able to get over the "tag" of being a defensive, prehistoric hoof ball merchant. No, you are labelled as that because that's what you are. The same man that got himself sacked as England manager by trying to sell ways round third party ownership and then when he gets caught has the audacity to call it entrapment. He's an absolute joke. Why do they keep giving him a platform?

I like how he was talking about what an amazing job he did and how great he was, but then realised that he'd better give the players and the rest of the staff a quick mention too.

"When the club is shite, and you can't score goals, who you gonna call??" Ghostbus....err I mean Allardyce
@lesvosace6026 жыл бұрын
Everyone knew when you got the job you would be leaving at the end of the season if not sooner. Even Everton don't want a grubby guy like Allardyce in charge. The tag he's got is for being a dodgy and the reason he can't get shut of it is because it is well deserved.
@billyconnolli82243 жыл бұрын
Allardyce was crap at Everton. 8th in the league was not the dream, it was the standard expectation for them. Nothing ambitious about that.
