I read the books and to be honest the TV show is, strangely, way better..in my opinion. It's more romantic, has more depth, passion....the books were extremely detailed but I found the story kinda "cold". The show is so romantic and full of things, happy and sad..rral. Such a great work they all did.

They are actually mature enough to understand a good professional relationship is better than dating and then the scenes would really awkward. He has these bedroom eyes and you note that he looks intensely into those whom he is speaking to.. he can get any girl he wants and hope he finds his true love like claire and jamie did

Caitriona seems the most relaxed of the two when they are together, she is a 100% genuine and her smile shows how much love and respects she has for Sam. Two actors with high professionalism and mutual admiration and respect. They do like each other and reinforce each other to make their performances highly believable.
