He understands Mandarin but seldom use it growing up in Japan. He speech pattern in the Chinese Lang is 5 in a sentence. I never ship BL actors because i know they do fan service purely to gain more attention from the audience, which turns out to be toxic. I just stated Sam looks very sad in the past few weeks which he has mentioned in his recent interview too that how acting as gao shi de has affected him personally. He went on to say something about them talking privately meaning that if they want to speak to each other, they call each other and do so privately often. Yeah i don’t think they were honest when they said that, it’s clear to me that Sam got way more immersed into that character, especially when you watch their newest interviews, the way Sam speaks about Gao Shide it’s like he’s a real person and not just a character. I’ve never seen Yu talking about Shuyi like that, I think with Yu he was just pretty stressed cuz it was his first job as an actor but if I had to choose who got more into the character it’s definitely Sam.

The vibe of this live was so different from the others, usually Sam jokes around a lot more, but he was so vulnerable in this live and I didn’t expect it. It was so intimate and I felt like I wasn’t meant to be watching it. Like him reading out the comment about blowing Yu a kiss he could have ignored it! And them saying I love you to each other!! This isn’t no regular fan service. I’ve seen many BL actors do fan service especially on lives. Sam feels some type of way like there is some love in his eyes for yu this can mean he likes him or he sees him as a person that could be part of his life like a really good friend. Ik Sam has a girlfriend but they have a long distance relationship it is very possible for sam to have a little crush on yu and just keep it to himself.

Honestly, same. Sam has mentioned many times how Gao Shi De has effected his personal life, I can't remember at which event he said "I am Gao Shi De, Gao Shi De is me". And the way he speaks of Zhou Shu Yi, it's as if he really is in love with Shu Yi. There is a chance he could be projecting these feelings on Yu (who is the manifestation of Shu Yi) and I feel like it shows in this live. It's a dangerous headspace to be in when you don't know whether your thoughts and emotions are coming from you or the character within you. He's going to need some time on his own to separate himself from Gao Shi De and figure his feelings out.

The entire interaction is adorable between sam and yu. Sam is a crackhead and i live for it while Yu is an introvert but they both manage to get along which I completely love about them. I adore Yu whenever he tilts his head when he doesn’t understand something. But my favourite part in this video would be where Sam encouraged Yu to talk his thoughts on S2. He was so calm with yu and kept encouraging him to talk even though you could tell Yu got kinda nervous there. It was so wholesome and i love them🥺 seriously i love how they have a great friendship despite having complete different personalities. I hope they stay good friends even after they have no more projects together.

I didn't know it was a fact, but I'm glad to know that! To me, Sam as an actor and Sam's private life are two different things. I ship him with Yu on camera but I don't need it to be true. They have such great quemistry on camera and my imagination can do the rest. So I'm happy to know on the private side things with his gf could be going really well.
