Superb ! Been listening to Sam for years now, ever since i heard his interview with Whispering Bob Harris on the radio, telling the story of Broken Fingers. One day i hope to see him play. A fan from Birmingham, England ✌

Nig, I saw Sam play at the Hair and Hounds in Kings Heath about 4 years ago. There were maybe 40 of us in the upstairs room. He came to speak to us at the intermission, and again at the end. Such a humble guy and the nicest gig I’ve been too. Also first heard him play Bob Harris Country years ago. I had a good chat with Sam, and there was no rushing us. He has a beautiful way of writing.
