“Now, an energetic new cut has been shared online. ‘Will We Talk?’ opens with distorted guitar effects before Fender pelts out the lyrics: “Blue Monday / Blaring loudly out the speakers / Fluorescent liquid in his beaker / Another night they’ve gone too far.”
The single is described as “a heady blast of high-octane, melody-packed, smash’n’grab rock’n’roll that launches from the traps at full pelt and doesn’t relent until the guitars and a string-section subside three minutes later.”
Along with the new track comes the news that Fender’s debut LP has been delayed. Originally due to arrive on August 9, it has now been confirmed that the date has been pushed back to September 13.” - NME, Tom Skinner, July 3 2019

Blue Monday
Blaring loudly out the speakers
Fluorescent liquid in his beaker
Another night they've gone too far
She said
"I don't usually do this kind of thing
Does it change the way you think of me?"
Thinking isn't his forte
And she said
"If you dance with me darling
If you take me home
Will we talk in the morning?"
They leave
Weave around the night's commotion
And dodge a Mexican standoff
And catch a cab back to his flat
There's no romance
Sprawled out across the couch
Can't even make his fucking face out
An age old ritual
And she said
"If you dance with me darling
If you take me home
Will we talk in the morning?"
Sometimes I close my eyes
And sometimes I see you're fine
She said
"If you dance with me darling
If you take me home
Will we talk in the morning?"
